Hawaii Bound!

In the last view months, I have apprehensively been wondering what I was going to do with my first official summer as a teacher. For those of you who know me, know that I am not very good at not being busy! After contemplating the seemingly endless possibilities of part-time jobs in Douglasville, I was still at a loss for my summer plans. Then, one Sunday afternoon I received a phone call asking if I would consider going to Hawaii for missions over the summer. My automatic answer was YES I would definitely be interested.  After much prayer and discussion with the missionary that I will be working with in Hawaii, I finalized my plans to serve there this summer.  I am excited to get the opportunity to use my gifts and build upon my previous experiences with children. I am not sure what all to expect, but I am eagerly awaiting to see how God moves in my life and in the lives of the people that I will meet while I am there. Although I have not yet arrived, I can see God's hand working to orchestrate all the details, big and small, for this trip. He is so faithful, and I am looking forward to seeing what He has planned for me while I am there.
